Mac N Cheese Casserole


Mac ‘N’ Cheese is the most delicious side dish you will ever want to have and the only one that is always taking over the internet. Crispiness outside soft and tenderness inside this dish is in itself a pure taste of joy.

Ingredients for making this recipe

Dry elbow macaroni




Light cream

12 ounces

¼ cup

¼ cup

1 ½ cups

1 cup

Dry mustard powder

1 tsp

Onion powder

1 tsp

Salt & pepper

Sharp cheddar

4 cups

Fresh parmesan cheese

½ cup

Steps for making 

Step-1 Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and run under cold water.

Step-2  Melt butter over medium heat in a large saucepan. Whisk in flour and let cook 2 minutes while stirring.

Step-3 Slowly whisk in milk, cream, mustard powder, onion powder, salt & pepper to taste. Cook over medium heat while stirring until thickened.

Step-4 Remove from heat and stir in parmesan cheese & 3 cups cheddar cheese until melted.

Step-5 Toss cheese sauce & macaroni together. Pour into a greased 9×13 pan. Top with remaining cheese.

Step-6 Bake 18-24 minutes or until bubbly. Do not over cook. Cool 10-15 minutes before serving.
