INGREDIENTS FOR THE RECIPE
Potatoes Washed and Peeled
Salt to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Peel potatoes and cut into quarters.
Place potatoes in a large saucepan with enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
Drain potatoes and return them to the saucepan .
Add in the butter, cream cheese, buttermilk, and salt. Use a hand mixer to whip the potatoes and other ingredients until light, fluffy, and creamy (5 minutes), or use a potato masher or a potato ricer.
Transfer mashed potatoes to a baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes
