Ingredients for Making Palak Paratha
Butter for serving
Remove the stem of the spinach & clean it. Cut spinach, coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, & green chilies into thick pieces.
Put spinach, green chillies, garlic, ginger & coriander in a mixer jar & grind them to make a puree.
Take wheat flour, 2 tsp oil, salt & spinach puree in a bowl.
Mix them well. Add water as required and knead soft dough.
Pour 1 tsp oil over the dough and make its surface smooth. Cover the dough with cloth or plate and let it set for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into a circle. Take one round in turn and press it between your palms to make a dough.
Take a cup of dry wheat flour in a bowl or plate.
Take a ball and wrap it with dry flour and place it on the wheel.
Roll it into a round shape with a rolling pin. Heat a pan on medium heat.
Place the raw paratha on a hot tawa and roast it like a paratha, applying oil on both sides till golden brown spots appear.
Grease hot Palak Paratha with butter and serve it with chutney, curd or pickle.
