Moong Dal Chilla Recipe

Ingredients for Making Methi Paratha

– 1 cup moong bean soaked overnight

– 2 tbsp. bell pepper chopped

– Green chili , Onion  & Cilantro chopped

–  tomatoes Chopped

– 1/4 cup vegan cheese

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/8 tsp cumin & Baking powder

– 1/8 tsp black pepper powder

– 1/8 tsp turmeric powder


Take your overnight soaked bowl of moong beans and blend it all together and make sure to pour out all the excess water it.


Take a small quantity of mixture according to your requirement and add that 3-4 tbsp. into another bowl and keep the rest of the batter safe in the refrigerator for future use.


Now to it add 1/2 cup water and whisk it nicely until it turns into a runny and smooth texture. Now to it we’ll add onions, tomatoes, green chilies, bell peppers, cilantro, salt, black pepper, cumin powder, baking powder, and turmeric powder. Give it a nice mix and our batter is ready.


Take a pan heat it a little add a few drops of oil and generously add the batter to it close the lid and will let it cook.


After a while flip it over and let it cook from the other side to it add cheese, tomatoes, and paprika on the top. Close the lid for a while.


Our vegan high-protein  moong dal chilla is ready.
