2 cups of All purpose flour 1/4 cup of oil/melted Ghee 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp carom seeds 3 ounce of water
Take a bowl add all purpose flour to it add oil, salt, and crushed carom seeds. Mix all the ingredients making a dough of it.
Now slowly add water to it and mix it using a press and hold technique to make the dough stick together.
Our dough is ready cover it keep it aside.
1/8 tsp asafoetida 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1/2 tsp fennel powder 1/4 tsp carom seeds 3/4 tsp red chili powder 3/4 tsp salt 1 tbsp. Mango powder 1 tbsp. Green chilies chopped (optional) 1 tbsp. ginger crushed 1/2 cup of peas 4 boil potatoes
Take a pan add oil let it heat a bit add Asafoetida and all the dry spices to it along with it add ginger, peas, green chilies, and potatoes.
Mix all the ingredients properly and at the same time mix and mash the potatoes on top add Mango powder and mix it well.
Our filling is ready.
- Now take the dough make small balls of it. - Now take a dough ball roll it in a round shape and cut it from the middle in two parts.
- Brush water onto the straight side of it and seal it together making it into a shape of a cone. - Add a spoon full of filling into it then bind all the edges together making it in a shape of a samosa.
- Now take a pan add oil to it heat it on a medium flame then will add our samosa. - Cook from both the sides until they turn crispy and golden in color. - Our Aloo samosa are ready.
