Ingredients for making Thekua
Wheat flour
Fennel seeds
Finely Chopped Almonds
Chopped Raisins
Green Cardamom
Coconut Powder
Oil
Ghee
Jaggery
Semolina
Put jaggery (finely breaking) & water in the pot & cook till the jaggery dissolves in the water.

After the jaggery dissolves well in the water, turn off the flame, cool it & filter it in a bowl.

Make a batter by mixing finely semolina in the jaggery solution. The jaggery-semolina solution for Thekua will be ready.

In a bowl, add wheat flour, fennel, finely chopped almonds, chopped raisins, grated coconut, small cardamom, coarsely crushed and ghee and mix them well.

After mixing all well, add jaggery-semolina solution to it and knead a hard dough.

Now add some milk to it and knead it, so that the dough starts binding.

keep it covered for 10 min.

Take a piece of dough and mash it with your hand and make it round. Then press it and enlarge it slightly and make a design by pressing its side with the help of a forked spoon.

In this way thekua will be made without the help of mould, make the rest of thekua in the same way.

Heat the oil in a kadhai, when it becomes hot, put as many thekuas in the kadhai and cook it.

After the time is up, turn them and fry them till they become golden brown.

Chhath Puja Thekua Recipe is ready.
