How to Make the Best Vegan Pesto Pasta?

It might be fun to make pasta, but you only get the perfect taste with time. So, here are a few tips to make the Best Vegan Pesto Pasta Ever:

  • Always cook the pasta properly because overcooked pasta never tastes good.
  • Use a strong blender instead of a food processor for better consistency.
  • Do not skip adding the oil while making the pesto if you want a smooth and creamy sauce.
  • Add veggies of your choice to the pesto pasta to make it more flavorful and satisfying.
  • Pick a Gluten-Free Pasta. If you want a Vegan Gluten-Free Pesto Pasta.
  • You can replace pine nuts with walnuts or cashews.
  • Allergic to nuts? Try using hemp seeds to make a Nut-Free Pesto Pasta.

What are the Best Noodles for Pesto Pasta?

My vote goes to shorter noodles; however, any type would work for the recipe. I feel Rigatoni or Penne are the best pasta noodle for pesto. Shell and Fusilli are also good. You could even go for the longer cuts of pasta like Spaghettini or Fettuccine, but I just feel the smaller ones absorb more sauce.

How Long does Pesto Pasta Last?

Your leftover pesto pasta can last for at least 3 days in an airtight container in the fridge. Just reheat it in a microwave before eating.

Why try the Recipe?

PASTA! One word and I am sure you are already thinking of your favorite one- Spaghetti, Ravioli, Lasagna, etc. People honestly love to have any shape or style of pasta. It enjoys an unbeatable fan base. I don’t see a reason you shouldn’t make it.

Because let’s not forget its nutritious too. On one side, where Pasta alone contains a good amount of protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, our sauce (Pesto) is incredible as well. Pesto is a refreshing Italian sauce made from grinding/crushing various ingredients into a paste.

It is an absolutely delicious and wholesome meal in itself. You won’t really need anything with it. Just serve it hot, sprinkled with the savory seasoning you like (oregano, rosemary, or parsley) to enhance the flavors. You can relish it any time of the day or year. This Vegan Pesto Pasta Recipe makes for a fantastic dinner, lunch, or snack. Many people love it with some salad or garlic bread on the side. Try the recipe today!
