Jam is a condiment. It is usually made from pressed fruit, sugar, and sometimes pectin. … After making, jam is normally put into an airtight jar. Usually, a jam contains as much sugar as it contains fruit. The two parts are then cooked together to form a gel. Jams are rich in sugar and a great source of Energy and Fiber. They curb hunger, helping us to eat less and be satisfied without cravings.

As we all know that every product has both pros and cons of consuming them just like that jam also has its downsides even though jams and jellies may provide some benefits, they’re high sugar products, and consuming too much sugar may lead to weight gain, cavities, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes. So, I would never suggest anyone consume jam on a daily basis but can be eaten two or three times a week as this jam does not only contains fruit and sugar but also has many other ingredients present in it.
