  • 1½ cup Suji
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ Yogurt
    Tadka
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • ½ tsp Mustard seeds
  • 3-4 Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp Cashew partially chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
    Idli Maker
  • 1 cup Water
  • Spray oil or normal oil
  • 1 tsp Eno

Stepwise Instruction How to Make Masala Idli / Rava Idli Recipe:

Preparation

Step 1- In a bowl add 1 and 1/2 cups of suji

Step 2– To it add salt, water, yogurt

Step 3– Mix all the ingredients together, let the batter sit for 2 mins

Step 4– Take a frying container to add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves(chopped), cashew(chopped), onion(chopped)

Step 5– Mix all of them and let them cook for 2-3 mins

Steaming

Step 1-Add all the fried ingredients into the batter

Step 2-Mix all of them together

Step 3-Add water accordingly

Step 4-Add water into the Idli maker let it boil for a while

Step 5-Meanwhile grease the tray

Step 6-Add Eno into the batter and mix it nicely

Step 7-Now pour the batter into the idli maker tray let it cook
