This is a very special gobi parantha recipe for me as my husband cooks this every year for my early breakfast on Karva Chauth. He learned this recipe from his father who does the same, which makes this gobi parantha recipe even more special as it is a multi-generational recipe in our house.

You can enjoy this recipe every single day as it is made with health and comfort in mind. On the day of Karva Chauth, all married females fast for the whole day. The fast begins with an early morning breakfast called Sargi, which often consists of a gobi Parantha or Aloo Gobi sabji with chapati. As you are not supposed to consume any water the whole day hence it is important that you eat something that will not make you thirsty. Hence, this gobi parantha recipe is very important from that aspect.

A Vegan, Gluten Free and Weight Loss Version of Gobi Parantha

Can you believe, this is a hundred percent vegan recipe? You can skip consuming it with butter to keep it vegan. All my vegan friends love to eat gobhi parantha.

A gluten-free version of gobhi parantha can also be prepared using gluten-free flour that is easily available in all grocery stores. You can also make a gluten-free version at home by using flour which is a mixture of soy, rice, and other types of flour commonly available in the house.

Recipe

It is an easy and quick-to-cook recipe. All you need is cauliflower, a few spices, and whole wheat dough.
