Makki ki Roti
Equipment
- Tortilla press
- Ziplock sheet
- Bowl
- Tawa
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Cornmeal flour
- 1/4 cup Wheatflour
- Water
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preparing-Take a tortilla press.-Cut zip lock bag sheet from three sides.-Place the sheet in between the Tortilla Press.-Take a bowl.-Add Cornmeal flour and wheat flour to it.-To it add water and knead it together to make that perfect texture dough.-Cover it with a lid and let it set for a while.-Open the lid.-Make small balls out of the dough.-Open the Tortilla press dust flour on the sheet so that the dough doesn't stick.-Place a ball of dough in between the sheet and dust wheat flour on the top of the dough.-Close the Tortilla and press the dough to make that perfect round shape.-Open the Tortilla press and gently remove the sheet from the dough.
- Cooking-Now let's cook our roti.-Nicely cook it from both sides.-Our Makki ki Roti is ready.
