Vegetarian Hoagie – Vegan Hoagie

This Italian veg Hoagie sandwich I something to die for. Loaded with lots of cheese, sauces, and your own preferred and favorite veggies? But before we move ahead you may have a question how is hoagie different from sub? Here is a very good resource on difference between hoagies and subs.

This delightfully easy and quick-to-make vegetarian Hoagie gives so much joy and excitement just by looking at it. This can be eaten both as a snack and as a meal as it contains all the healthy ingredients required by an adult as well as for a child, so you don’t need to worry and let the kids enjoy themselves as well.

If you’re packing the Hoagie to take along, keep the ingredients separate, and assemble right before eating to avoid soggy bread. Serve it hot/ warm to avoid the cheese getting solid again and for the ultimate taste of the food.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf Hoagie Bread
  • 2 slices Swiss Cheese Slice (Not needed for vegan version)
  • Cucumbers
  • Tomatoes
  • Bell Pepper
  • Onions
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Pickle
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Onion sauce
  • Mustard sauce

Instructions
 

  • Making
    -Take a hoagie bread
    -Add swiss cheese slices to it (not needed for vegan version)
    -Now toast the sandwich.
    -Add cucumbers, Tomatoes, Bell Pepper, Onions, Salt, Black Pepper, Pickle, Lettuce leaves to it.
    -Then to it add Onion sauce and Mustard sauce.
    -Then close the bun and wrap it nicely.
    -It's ready.
