How to make Yummy Momos?

A few momo tips to make the most flavorful and satisfying momos ever:

  • Keep enough space between the dumplings while you steam them because they expand during steaming and might stick together.
  • You can use the classic bamboo steamer, electric cooker, instant pot, or even idli steamer for cooking your momos.
  • Use all your favorite veggies for veg momo stuffing, such as French beans, mushrooms, etc.
  • Remember, the perfect momo shape would only come with practice.
  • Switch the all-purpose flour used for the dough with whole wheat flour.
  • Feel free to add different flavors like Mexican seasoning, spices and herbs, miso, and lots more.

I believe momos are incomplete without the authentic spicy sauce/chutney. It is the most famous hot and spicy sauce (momo chutney), which goes the best with all momos. Whether it’s summer, winter, or monsoon, Dumplings are the staple snacks of all seasons. If you are not a fan of spicy, you can also enjoy it with mayonnaise and ketchup.
