What is Tortilla?
A Tortilla is a thin, circular unleavened flatbread originally made from maize hominy meal, and now also from wheat flour. Traditionally, the corn (maize) for tortillas was boiled with unslaked lime to soften the kernels and loosen the hulls. (This lime was the principal source of calcium in the Mexican diet.)

This vegetarian recipe How to make Homemade Veggie Quesadilla is a very easy-to-make Mexican dish made with tortilla which is first filled with veggies, cheese, and then toasted and cooked until all the cheese melts is cheery on the top for all the cheese lovers out there. When I’m feeling too lazy to make a proper meal, when my fridge is bare, when I come home from the grocery store hangry I throw together a quesadilla in under ten minutes flat. It can be enjoyed as breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even an appetizer.
Quesadilla is prepared by putting different types of filling, generally made with vegetables, beans, meat, spices, and cheese which are put on a tortilla and then grilled or toasted. But I preferred minimal and best for that I used Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cilantro, and lots of cheese of course you can add more veggies or herbs if you like. The recipe which I am sharing today is purely vegetarian Quesadilla. This is my way of making this amazing quickie snack for a little tummy fill-up. Ingredients
- Tortilla
- Vegan Mayonnaise
- Taco Bell Sauce
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Cilantro
- Cheese
Instructions
- Cooking-Take a tortilla.-Add vegan mayonnaise, taco bell sauce to it.-Spread it evenly nicely.-To it add Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cilantro, and some cheese on top.-Flip it and press it down.-Cook for some time until cheese starts to come out.-That's when it's ready.-Our Veggie Quesadilla is ready.
