  • Frying pan


  • 1 cup potato sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion sliced
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp carom seeds
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp chat masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp. cilantro chopped
  • 2 Green chilis slit
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  • 1/2 cup Gram flour
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • 1/4 cup water


  • Preparation
    Take a bowl.
    – Add sliced potato, onion.
    – To it add Cumin seeds, carom seeds, coriander powder, chili powder, chat masala, turmeric, garlic, salt, cilantro(chopped), green chilies(slit), Asafoetida, Gram flour, Kasuri methi.
    – Mix it nicely together.
    – Add water accordingly.
  • Frying
    – Take small quantities of the batter, put it in the frying pan.
    – Let it cook for 3 mins for a nice crispy taste.
    – Take the pakoras out once cooked properly.
    – Serve it hot with chutney.
